Germany Trip

I took a trip over to Munich, Germany for Carl Zeiss MicroImaging in the beginning of March.  I went over with my colleague Aaron Brown for 10 days.  We had some free time at night and on the weekends to tour around.  We definitely drank too much beer and had our fill of Bavarian food while we were there.  There were some pretty good sites to see around Munich, with the highlights being the Beer and Brewery tour we went on.  We learned all sorts of things about the history of beer.  One of the tidbits was the Bavarian "Reinheitsgebot" (Purity Law), the oldest and still valid food law, which meant the birth of modern beer.  It would have been great to have been here during summer to enjoy the outdoor beer gardens, but none the less it was still fun.
